ALine supports the SoCal Micro & Nanofluidics Symposium

The 4th annual SoCal Micro & Nanofluidics Symposium will be held at UC Santa Barbara this Thursday and Friday, Aug. 24-25, 2017. The symposium brings together students and faculty from across the UC system.  ALine is sponsoring two awards for the best presentations by students, as well as supporting the symposium generally. Speakers spanning mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, neuroscience and bioengineering will present their work and discuss the future of micro and nanofluidics in biotechnology and medicine.

Dr. Levine, President and CEO of ALine commented, “Even though I run a company, I still think of myself as a scientist, and continue to value the informal interactions at conferences that build professional relationships and always teach me something new. For this reason, I am happy to be able to support the 4th annual SoCal Micro and Nanofluidics symposium. Giving students a chance to speak in front of their peers and mentors helps them grow professionally. Supporting these programs in the SoCal region also gives us visibility to new talent that is important for the growth of our business.”
