One of ALine’s custom bio micro cards has successfully been flown on NASA Ames’ GenSat-1 mission in support of multiplexed cell cultures in a nanosatellite, zero gravity experiment. Using its naturally rugged bio compatible lamination method, ALine assembled a 12 well, bio micro cell culture card using sheets and films of bio compatible material that were laser cut to the custom design requirements. A key to the success was the development of an advanced process for inserting porous membranes. |
